Vernon Public Art Gallery wraps up 22st annual Midsummer=92s Eve of the =
Arts

Vernon, BC =96 The Vernon Public Art Gallery held its 22nd annual =
Midsummer=92s
Eve of the Arts to a fun loving crowd last night at the Caetani House.

=20

This annual soir=E9e, organized by the Board of Trustees, is the =
Gallery=92s
main fundraiser.  The money raised by the event is used to support
educational and exhibition programs.

=20

Last night=92s art auctions grossed $33,000.  A painting by Rick Bond =
fetched
the highest bid at $3,400.

=20

The lucky raffle winners were Karen and Ed Bordun of Kelowna, BC who are =
now
the proud owners of an acrylic painting by Elizabeth Moore titled =
Avanzar.=20

=20

The raffle netted the Gallery another $3,000, while main event ticket =
sales
topped $21,000 this year.

=20

The Vernon Public Art Gallery wishes to extend a sincere thank you to =
the
donating artists, volunteers, participating businesses and guests. =20
