always challenging. Imagine joining a team made up of people who do more
than just see a great future for the City of Surrey --- they actively

The City of Surrey is proud to be designated a 2008 Cultural Capital of

for Cultural Sharing. Surrey will offer both its community and visitors
a year full of cultural discoveries, particularly through the new Fusion
Multi-cultural Festival, six public art projects showcasing the
community's cultural diversity and its fascinating natural history and
an international new media project for youth called Glocal. Surrey will
also be participating in the 2009 and 2010 Cultural Olympiad Festivals.
Growth here is occurring at an enormous rate. There's never a dull
moment and to ensure our commitment to exceptional parks, recreation,
arts, and heritage services we are looking to hire an exceptional and

The Visual Arts Programmer plans, promotes, schedules, implements,
evaluates and provides feedback on a wide range of visual art programs
and services, including studio courses and workshops, ceramics studio
