At the City of Surrey we have designed 30+ heritage storyboard signs. We =
have used a company called ArtCraft (604-552-1055, Contact Jim Sharp) in =
Port Coquitlam to produce all of them, and they have always done a =
wonderful job. They are printed on aluminum with lexan anti-graffiti =
faces and Smart Frames, and fit into metal stands that anchor them into =
the ground. Depending on where they are located, they need a quick bit =
of cleaning every couple of years to remove any dirt or algae that =
somehow occasionally accumulates inside the frames.
=20
If you'd like to contact me directly, I'd be happy to give you tips on =
design ( dlbrown@surrey.ca).

Subject: [Bcma-l] Interpretive Panels

I'm looking to install outdoor interpretive panels relating the history =
of the Peace River in our area and I was wondering if those of you with =
experience in this field have any tips on design and durability. Is =
there a reputable Canadian company that can help me develop/produce =
these?

Thanks. Rosaleen
