[Bcma-l] Call for Golden Service Awards Nominations

Greetings from the BC Museums Association!

Nominations are now invited for the 2008 Golden Anniversary Service 
Awards, to be presented at BCMA's Conference 2008 in Victoria, BC this 
November.

Postmark deadline for 2008 Nominations is _Monday, June 30, 2008_.

Guidelines, Nomination Form and a listing of 2007 recipients are posted 
and downloadable from the BCMA homepage at:

Introduced as a legacy of the BCMA's 50th Anniversary last year, 25 
original recipients were honoured for their "outstanding and significant 
contribution to the BC museums, heritage or visual arts fields...".

Council's 50th Anniversary Committee's intent is to honour up to 5 
additional member-nominated contributors in each of the next five years.
