Executive Director, Victoria Heritage Foundation (Victoria BC)
The Victoria Heritage Foundation is looking for a part time Executive Direc=
tor (70 to 90 hours per month), with interviews for the position to begin i=
n early December of 2008.
The Victoria Heritage Foundation is a non-profit society whose first mandat=
e is to promote the preservation, maintenance and restoration of designated=
residential heritage homes in the city of Victoria.
The Victoria Heritage Foundation is responsible for administering a house g=
rants program for the city of Victoria. Further details of the Foundation c=

The candidate will have a keen interest in the preservation of heritage hom=
es. A sound knowledge of, and experience in, issues affecting conservation,=
preservation, and the maintenance of built heritage, are required.
The successful candidate will have excellent interpersonal skills. Communic=
ation with the Board, the public, and a diverse group of volunteers are key=
aspects of the position. Strong organizational skills, along with office m=
anagement experience, are required.
This position is ideal for someone who wishes to work from a home office an=
