Sept. 11, 2008, Ottawa - Heritage Magazine, Canada's only national
magazine dedicated to the conservation of heritage buildings and historic
places, has released its special issue on Preserving Religious Buildings.
This issue tackles the challenges currently facing historic churches,
synagogues and other places of worship across the country-from shrinking
congregations and years of deferred maintenance to shifting demographics
and rising urban land values.</span></font>
