Island Mountain Arts in Wells BC got our letter today. Direct Access
represented about 10% of our operating budget and was for public
programs such as Artist Talks, Concerts, Readings and Exhibitions,
plus our Children and Youth Programs, scholarship funds and the
ArtsWells Festival of All Things Art.
We too had budgeted that money thinking that it was a stable source
and now will be out of pocket.
Can we agree this is not just the hard economic times but the
shortfalls in the Olympic budget?
