"The Campbell River Museum is in the business of telling and sharing =
people's stories. These threads weave our collective history and social =
and media networks are a new way of sharing these stories``, says Lesia =
Davis, Executive Director. Recent research indicates that people over =
55 are showing the largest increase in use of social networking.
On a practical level, the Museum joined eZABU as a complete management =
solution fully integrated with Facebook, Twitter, YouTube, Flickr and =
others in one platform. This one platform approach managed by an =
offsite professional team is really the way to go so that staff at the =
Museum can continue to focus on what we do best... delivering the best =
museum programs and services. Through joining eZabu we hope to see =
results in increased visitation, increased Shop sales and increased =
meaningful, interactive communication.
As a living history museum for all ages, we also need to join the tide =
of the future.=20
