150 videos from the 1920s to 2006 are now available from City Archives
online to download, view and use.=20

The varied selection of City and home-produced movies, documentaries and
newsreels includes World War 1 flying ace Albert Earl Godfrey taking off
in a plane from Jericho in 1928, milk being delivered by horse-drawn
cart in Shaughnessy in 1940, Bing Crosby's visit to Vancouver in 1948,
Eric Hamber on his yacht, the building of the Granville Street Bridge in
1954, the tower demolition of the Woodward's building in 2006, and more.

All videos available online are low-resolution. High-resolution versions
may be viewed in person at the City Archives in Vanier Park.=20
