Maritime Museum Pirate School
Ahoy Mateys! The Maritime Museum will be training children to be 'the best
of the worst' during March break.
The sixth annual Pirate School runs from
March 17-19 at the Bastion Square landmark.
>From 10- 4 on Tuesday, Wednesday and Thursday, experienced instructors will
teach young scalawags the skills needed to survive on the high seas.
The unique experience is highly recommended by the likes of Black Bart
Roberts. "I gets all me crew from the Pirate College."
Pirate apprentices will learn how to build model boats, paint faces, do
tattoos ,design pirate flags as well as learn scrimshaw and cartography.
Admission is $6 per child and $10 for adults . All children must be
accompanied by an adult.
