Join renowned author Robert D. Turner on a special journey exploring the world of the wonderfully iconic sternwheelers that plied the waterways of the Klondike.

Mr. Turner,who is curator emeritus of Historical Collections at the Royal British Columbia Museum ,will speak at 2 p.m. on Sunday November 22nd at the Maritime Museum of B.C. He has written a wide range of books and articles on steamships and railways.

Cost $15  ($12 for MMBC Members) *Seating is limited .

Nautical Wreath Workshops
Learn to make unique Christmas gifts at the  Maritime Museum of B.C . Starting on November 28th  the museum is once again offering  two hour nautical wreath workshops at a cost of $25 including GST. Price includes instruction and material for 1 wreath. Extra wreath materials are $10 each plus GST.

Corporate Bookings are also available at a cost of $600 for up to 15 people.
 Each additional person $35. Maximum 25 people per workshop.
Saturday November 28 from 1-3 pm
Thursday December 3 from 6-8 pm
Sunday December 6 from 2-4 pm
Tuesday December 8 from 6-8 pm.
