POPULAR POLAR EXPRESST WILL RIDE AGAIN

 

 

The Polar Express, a magical journey to the North Pole will once again be taking children of all ages on this truly unique adventure.

 

The dates for the journey are December 5 & 6.leaving the West Coast Railway Heritage Park in Squamish at 10:00am, noon 2:00pm and 4:00pm

 

This experience includes a wonderful hour-long train ride, and is a rendition of the children's book, The Polar ExpressT written by Chris Van Allsburg and published by the Houghton Miffin Company.

 

The Polar Express departs each December and heads to the 'North Pole" from the West Coast Railway Heritage Park and travels to the estuary, thanks to the CN crew who donate their time and efforts to ensure all who ride the train have a wonderful time.

 

On board, a taste of hot chocolate and cookies, music and the story - once back at the Park, a trip to the North Pole to visit Santa and Mrs. Claus to receive the first gift of Christmas..a silver bell.

 

This year, both regular and first class fares are being offered in 4 coaches.  Regular fare starts at $19 for Children 2 - 12 years of age, and $22. for adults, children under 2 are free in all classes.  First class fare is $32. and includes a photograph and a souvenir mug.

 

The Polar Express event is one of the major fundraisers of the West Coast Railway Heritage Park and is greatly enhanced and brought to life by the collective efforts of many volunteers, and a dedicated team of staff.  Together they help all our guests to truly believe.  Families will want to make this a holiday tradition.
