[BCMA] historic crop digitization

Hello:
The Garden Institute of B.C. has a small grant from IDRC to digitize historic crop information and put it up on a website that will link the information to weather and soil map for the time and place (see www.tgibc.org and the GIS project for a summary of the project). We plan to post the information on the www.seeds.ca website, Canada's heritage seed program site.  This will give us useful information for local food growers, food security projects and help on farm research find varieties that might work in the bioregion.

If you have some agriculture or horticulture records or reports you would like to digitize with this grant please contact me.
