*Educator, Public Programs (Full time, 1 year term)*
 
The Educator, Public Programs will develop and administer public 
programs related to exhibitions and other educational initiatives to 
enrich and enhance the Gallery experience. Reporting to the Chief 
Curator, this challenging position includes research, design and 
implementation of programs for children and adults, including children's 
studio classes, Family Sundays, VIBE (lectures, tours, screenings, 
workshops, etc related to exhibitions), and Urbanite (a dynamic program 
designed to grow new and diverse audiences). Other duties include budget 
management and assistance with program promotion.
 
The candidate will have an MA in arts or education or equivalent and 
experience with program design. The position requires extensive 
experience with recruitment, training, scheduling, and supervision of 
volunteers and contract staff; excellent written and oral communication; 
and strength in managing multiple concurrent projects.
