[BCMA] Come Celebrate Science!

Take an exclusive tour of the new Beaty Biodiversity Museum at UBC, home of the Blue Whale skeleton - and support the work of the Canadian Children's Book Centre.

Celebrate Science! A BC Sciencefest for Teachers, Librarians and Parents takes place in the Beaty Biodiversity Museum on Saturday, Sept. 25, 2010, from 8:30 a.m. to 12:30 p.m.

The keynote speaker is the amazing astronomer Jaymie Matthews. Learn more about new science books for kids and teens from a stellar line-up of BC science writers. And come visit the Canadian Children's Book Centre book collection, found in the UBC Education Library.

Registration is $40, and $20 for students. All proceeds support the work of the Canadian Children's Book Centre (www.bookcentre.ca<http://www.bookcentre.ca/>).
