The Kelowna Art Gallery is seeking an individual to join our team as
Marketing and Events Coordinator.
The Marketing and Events Coordinator develops and maintains an annual
marketing plan and budget, implements public relations strategies that
enhance the profile of the Kelowna Art Gallery, organizes opening
receptions, and coordinates special events as well as facility rentals.
The Marketing and Events Coordinator reports to the Executive Director,
and works closely with all staff as well as volunteer committees.
This full-time position is 35 hours per week. This is a salaried

Qualifications:
* Excellent oral, written, and interpersonal skills
* Very strong organizational skills with an emphasis on attention
to detail
* Ability to consistently meet tight deadlines
* Good planning and budgeting skills
* A broad knowledge of fundraising techniques and methods
* A strong team player
* Solid computer skills with familiarity with MS Word, Excel and
Access on a PC platform
* A degree or diploma and related experience in marketing and
communications would be an asset
