Eclectic and Energetic, MG3 Takes Listeners on a Global Journey at the  Shadbolt Centre

BURNABY, BC - Montreal Guitar Trio - MG3 leads its audience to a special place where jazz and world music are entwined with gusto.  Spiced by a wry sense of humour, the trio's music exudes an irresistible passion that will make you stomp furiously! MG3's eclectic music takes listeners on a journey through the world's many cultures from the exotic melodies of India to the hot rhythms of South America, Spain, the Balkans, the Orient, traditional Quebec and Hollywood. In the last ten years, MG3 has performed hundreds of concerts all over the world. MG3 recently made its debut in Denmark, New Zealand and Amsterdam's prestigious Concertgebouw.

Described by the CBC as " the hottest guitar ensemble in Canada", MG3 has quickly established itself as a force of rejuvenation of various musical forms. With passionate virtuosity, guitarists Glenn Lévesque, Marc Morin and Sébastien Dufour at once charm the ears of seasoned critics and capture the hearts of their ever-expanding audiences.

In addition to their international tours, MG3 is commencing a 'Going Out West' circuit in February including stops in Northern B.C. and Metro Vancouver.  Burnaby's Shadbolt Centre will host this exceptional, charismatic trio on February 12th.
