We are using InMagic and we run a continuous accession database and simply
prefix the accession number with an A (Archive) or M (Museum). This works
well for us.

Subject: [BCMA] Combined database for archives and artefacts

Hi,

I was wondering if anybody has a collections database that combines archival
and artefact records in one layout? And if so does it work well for you?

Thanks,
