North Vancouver Museum & Archives presents the lecture series:

Telltale Names of the Northwest Coast

Attend our colourful speaker series for a unique look at place names of sites that make up the heart of BC's Raincoast as well as Coast Range Mountains. This trio of illustrated talks sheds light on a wealth of stories; some of which are touching, tragic, humorous and absurd. Speakers include Andrew Scott author of the award-winning book, Encyclopedia of Raincoast Place Names; mountaineer and retired geologist Glenn Woodsworth and archaeologist Rudy Reimer who links oral traditions to the local geography.
