We are looking forward to seeing everyone at conference this week!
All of the action is within a two block radius in Nanaimo's beautiful downtown. The museum is in the Vancouver Island Conference Centre and literally moments away from your hotels, food, galleries, and incredible shopping!
How to get to conference:
By Air:
Delegates may connect on a short 15-minute flight from Vancouver International Airport to Nanaimo Airport, located 10 minutes south of Nanaimo. For service into Nanaimo Airport visit Air Canada or Nanaimo Airport.
Frequent scheduled seaplane flights are available from Vancouver Harbour to Nanaimo Harbour (short 25-minute flight), docking 2 blocks from the Vancouver Island Conference Centre. For air service into Nanaimo Harbour’s Seaplane Terminal, visit West Coast Air at 1-800-347-2222 or Harbour Air Seaplanes at 1-800-665-0212.
Daily seaplane flights are also available to Nanaimo Harbour from Vancouver International Airport via Seair Seaplanes at 1-800-447-3247.
By Sea & By Land:
BC Ferries (1-888-223-3779) provides passenger and vehicle service to Nanaimo from Vancouver’s Tsawwassen and Horseshoe Bay terminals. The 1½ hour ferry ride from Horseshoe Bay docks in Departure Bay, just minutes from the Vancouver Island Conference Centre. The 2-hour ferry ride from Tsawwassen arrives at Duke Point, just 15 minutes south of downtown Nanaimo. Bus service from Vancouver to Nanaimo via Horseshoe Bay is provided by Greyhound Lines Canada (1-800-661-8747).
Shuttle services between all incoming airports, seaports and BC Ferries terminals are available to and from Nanaimo. For services, contact:
