Good morning,
I am wondering if the Qualicum Beach Museum could sign up to host this exhibit in late spring / early summer. This would allow our school groups to benefit as well as the summer crowd of tourists in the area.
Thank you,

Subject: [BCMA] RBCM Travelling Exhibition available 2011 - 2013
Would your community museum like to host an exhibition created and supported by the Royal BC Museum? The RBCM is currently seeking BC museum venues for "Aliens Among Us: BC's Recent Plant & Animal Arrivals", a travelling exhibition on alien species in our province.
"Aliens Among Us" will be available to all geographical areas of BC from May 2011 until May 2013. Installation and curatorial support is included with the exhibition, and travel costs and insurance will be covered by the RBCM. The exhibition is offered without charge to venues, although local advertising will be the responsibility of host museums.
Please see the attached prospectus for more details. If you are interested in hosting "Aliens Among Us", contact Caroline Posynick at tourcoordinator at royalbcmuseum.bc.ca, or (250) 508-9298, or ask Caroline about the exhibition at the BC Museums Association conference in Nanaimo later this week.
Tour venues and dates will be announced in early 2011.
