The Archives Association of British Columbia is pleased to offer the 2-day
Managing Photographic Media workshop taking place on April 27th and 28th at
the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre, UBC.  

 

This hands-on workshop covers appraisal, access, privacy, copyright,
arrangement and description, photographic negative and print identification,
and storage.  The workshop will also cover best practices for digitization
and for managing born-digital photographs.

Kelly Stewart, AABC Education Advisory Co-ordinator
Rosaleen Hill, AABC Preservation Co-ordinator

 

This workshop will benefit anyone managing photographic collections and is
open to participants from all sectors.

Final registration date for the workshop is April 22nd.

Location:  Irving K. Barber Learning Centre, UBC, Vancouver B.C.

Cost:  Members: $250.00; Non-members: $350.00
