[BCMA] Summer employment opportunities at Osoyoos Museum

Summer Student positions -- Collections and Exhibitions Assistant 

The Osoyoos Museum requires two students for the period May 16 to August 26, 35 hrs. per week @ $12 per hour.  

Students must have completed the first year of university or college and be returning full-time in the fall.  The positions will assist with a variety of museum collections management tasks to help improve the care of the collections, including inventory work, assisting with displays, helping volunteers with front desk reception and guiding visitors through the museum, as well as other tasks. Computer proficiency and good organizational skills are essential. 

Candidates for the positions must be registered with Young Canada Works (see www.young canada.works.ca).  Funding from Young Canada Works has been approved for two positions.

Deadline for applications is May 6/11.
