[BCMA] Gaming grants

[Moderated BCMA subscriber listserv.]

At Kilby Historic Site we requested $30,000 and were given $10,000. Last
year we requested $30,000 and were given $20,000.  This year their
notification stated that "Community Gaming Grants for Museums has been
reduced by 50 per cent of historical levels".  I can't understand what the
rationale would be for that.

We applied for a Community Gaming Grant for just under $20,000 and have just
learned that we were awarded $5,000.  Last year we were not successful,
however in several of the previous years we were awarded what we requested.
Another local heritage group requested $14,000 and was awarded $3,000.  Just
wondering how everyone else is making out with this grant.
