We are shocked and saddened to have just this moment learned through CBC
Radio of the apparent fire--the second in 4 days--that has severely damaged
if not destroyed the Chase & District Museum & Archives Society, a longtime
BCMA Institutional Member. Reportedly many of the collections have been
destroyed, but the report was sketchy. 


We are eager for an update on the situation in Chase & ask that anyone with
more detail, and indeed if any museums in the area are able to assist in any
way.
