[BCMA] Chase Museum Fire

Saddened to hear about the fire in Chase. Our hearts go out to the  
community of Chase and their museum staff who must be devastated. Is  
there any way for the rest of the museum community in BC to help?

   We are shocked and saddened to have just this moment learned
through CBC Radio of the apparent fire--the second in 4 days--that
has severely damaged if not destroyed the Chase & District Museum &
Archives Society, a longtime BCMA Institutional Member. Reportedly
many of the collections have been destroyed, but the report was
sketchy.

   We are eager for an update on the situation in Chase & ask that
anyone with more detail, and indeed if any museums in the area are
able to assist in any way.
