Vancouver Draw Down 2011: Summer of 10,000 Drawings!












Come join us on July 23rd from 11 am - 1 pm when the Museum of Anthropology will be hosting a drawing workshop as part of the Vancouver Draw Down 2011 Finale. Vancouver Draw Down is a yearly initiative focused on the power and pleasure of drawing.
Inspired by the abundant birds within the Museum, our activity is called
(F)light of Birds: Collaborative Pinprick Drawings. Made using black paper,
push-pins and a bit of sunshine these enchanting feathered friends are already adorning the windows of our café. Come and help us turn our bunch into a full-out flock!
The day will feature a series of drawing events and workshops taking place at nine sites across the city. Leading up to the finale the month of July features daily drawing challenges both for beginners and those with more experience. This family-friendly activity is free with regular Museum admission.
