 The Artist's Circle 
July 29 to August 7, 2011

Venue: Exhibition Tent, east of 1564 Argyle Avenue, West Vancouver

  

The Artist's Circle: Exhibition  -  Open daily 10am to 9pm
Free Admission


This 10 day/10 artist exhibition highlights the work of internationally
acclaimed artists.

 

In addition to Gordon Smith, artists featured in the Artist Circle
exhibition include: Sonny Assu, Joan Balzar, B.C. Binning, Pierre
Coupey, Attila Richard Lukacs, Jack Shadbolt, Sylvia Tait, Ian Wallace
and Lawrence Paul Yuxweluptun.

 


The Artist's Circle: A Special Evening Celebration 
August 3, 7pm to 10pm, $75

Please join Gordon Smith, Ian Wallace and other special guests on the
waterfront for an evening of celebration as they discuss important
artists who contributed to establishing British Columbia as a leading
centre for the Visual Arts.

 

This special evening celebration includes a wine and appetizer reception
with the opportunity to meet the artists. These events are being offered
in conjunction with the West Vancouver Museum's summer exhibition, 
Selected Works from the Gordon and Marion Smith Collection

runs until August 27, 2011. Proceeds from these events support the
Museum and future visual art exhibitions and programs.
