Flights of Fancy at the Maritime Museum of BC

Urban Arts is back at the Maritime Museum of BC and better than ever! Every Wednesday and Saturday throughout July and August, they will bring to life two children's plays based on the classic stories of Peter Pan and Treasure Island.

Experience the excitement of childhood and the wonder of flight! Get up close to a giant crocodile and discover the treasure inside a Pirate's bounty as the Museum's Courtroom transforms into a world where imagination is limitless! Audience participation is strongly encouraged. Cost is $10 for children (6-12); $15 for students (13-18) and seniors (65+); $17 for adults (19+) and $35 for families. Cost includes entrance to the Museum. (Performance runs from July 5th - August 13th).

Also throughout July and August, the Museum is featuring our Holiday Programs. Young scallywags will enjoy discovering the world of Mythical Beasties and Pirates as well as navigating around the world and back and the adventures of deep sea diving. Cost is $15 per child (6-12) and must be accompanied by a caregiver. Caregivers are free. Cost is for programs only. To tour the rest of the Museum, admission is required.

For more information, please call 250-385-4222, ext. 113 or visit our website at mmbc.bc.ca and check under the What's New at the Museum section. Join the voyage!
