The 7th Annual Garden Party
A Special Fundraising Event on behalf of 
Heritage Vancouver

Hosted by City Councillor Susan Anton at her Kerrisdale Home

Presentation by Mayor Gregor Robertson at 6:30pm

Join special guest Mayor Gregor Robertson  and City Councillor Suzanne Anton in celebrating this year’s Heritage Vancouver Garden Party.

 

Enjoy a spectacular midsummer evening of sumptuous wine, delicious hors d’oeurves and lively conversation in Councillor Anton’s beautiful garden.  Come and find out which Vancouver heritage buildings have been selected as this year’s Success Stories of Heritage Conservation in a special presentation by Vancouver Mayor Gregor Robertson.  The mayor will honour the buildings’ owners and architects and pay tribute to their contributions in the preservation of significant heritage buildings in Vancouver.

 

This is a wonderful opportunity to meet and mix with elected officials, community leaders and heritage supporters and celebrate the many worthwhile projects undertaken by Heritage Vancouver Society.

 

The Heritage Vancouver Society is a not for profit society dedicated to the conservation of Vancouver’s built heritage.  It carries out a wide range of activities, such as tours and events, panel discussions, advocacy, research, publishing and consulting to raise awareness and create a greater appreciation for Vancouver’s architectural past.  Successful preservation campaigns include the Stanley Theatre, Victory Square, Heatley Block and ongoing efforts to preserve the Burrard Bridge.  Owing to the generous sponsorship of this event, all proceeds from the 7th Annual Garden Party will support Heritage Vancouver Society initiatives.
