Antique Appraisal Event
June 18, 2011 12 - 5 PM in Studio 2, The Reach 32388 Veteran's Way, Abbotsford, BC.
Ever wondered if you have treasure on the mantel?  Wanted to know the background on that family heirloom?  Here is your chance to bring your cherished possessions for appraisal at our annual antiques appraisal event with Gale Pirie CPPA, an independent accredited appraiser who has appeared on the Canadian Antiques Roadshow and has many years of valuable experience.
Gale has agreed to support The Reach for this event, which has also received generous support from the Abbotsford News. Registration is on a first-come-first served basis, but there will be plenty of seating and refreshments available. Visit our website or call Director of Development Karina Chow for more information. Proceeds of the event will support the exhibitions, programs, archives and collections of The Reach and participants are encouraged to experience our new exhibitions, which include: The Tree: From the Sublime to the Social, Fraser Valley Biennale 2011, Our Communities, Our Stories: You Look Marvelous! and Janet Bright's wonderful Field 103W.
Details

*         $15 for 1 item/$25 for 2 items/$30 for 3 items/$35 for 4 items (4 items max)

*        Please make appointments - Four (4) minutes per item

*         Appointments will be assigned in 30 minute blocks.

*         Please arrive at the venue at least five minutes before your timeslot.

*         No large items such as furniture. Only items that can be easily carried please.

*         Pre-register online through our "Events & Programs" tab
