Delta Museum & Archives Seeks Spring Break Sleuths
Delta, BC - Can you solve this Mystery in the Museum? It's June 26th, 1928.
It's your first day on the job as a new Delta Police constable, and you've
already got a case to solve. There's been a burglary at Pansy Mae's Ranch &
Boarding House in Tsawwassen. You have a house full of suspects and you
must use the evidence to determine who took the missing money and jewels.
Can you capture the criminal before it's too late? Use your detective skills
to solve this dastardly deed in Delta!
The Delta Museum & Archives is looking for detectives to help solve the
latest "Mystery in the Museum" and locate the burglar. This popular
fun-filled adventure is offered by the Delta Museum & Archives during Spring
Break and is a self-guided drop-in program. To solve the case you will
follow the clues and uncover evidence throughout the Museum. As you move
from clue to clue, the evidence you discover will bring you closer to
solving what was taken and the who and why behind this year's "Mystery in
the Museum".
The Museum will be open March 22 to 26 and March 29 to April 2 (closed
Sunday and Monday) from 10:00am to 4:30pm. Please allow a minimum of one
hour to collect all the evidence and solve the mystery. Children under 12
years of age must be accompanied by an adult. Cost is $5.00 per clue kit.
Pre-registration is not required.
The Museum, housed in the historical 1912 Tudor-style building located in
the heart of Ladner Village at 4858 Delta Street, tells Delta's rich history
through exciting exhibits, fun activities and special programs for both
children and adults and is open Tuesday to Saturday, 10:00am to 4:30pm. For
