The Archives Association of British Columbia is pleased to offer the 2-day
Managing Photographic Media workshop taking place on April 27th and 28th at
the Irving K. Barber Learning Centre.  

 

This hands-on workshop covers appraisal, access, privacy, copyright,
arrangement and description, photographic negative and print identification,
and storage.  The workshop will also cover best practices for digitization
and for managing born-digital photographs.

Rosaleen Hill, BCAPS Coordinator

 
This workshop will benefit anyone managing photographic collections and is
open to participants from all sectors.

Cost:  Members: $250.00; Non-members: $350.00

This year's conference features BC's Privacy Commissioner Elizabeth Denham
and our keynote speaker, Daniel Caron, the Librarian and Archivist of
Canada.
