Call for nominations

Extract from the by-laws:

    47.   Nominations for Directors may be submitted in writing or e-mail by
    Member Societies.  These must be received by the Nominating Committee at
    least thirty days prior to the Annual General Meeting [April 7, 2011].
    All such nominations must be accompanied by an acceptance by the nominee
    and a brief biography of the nominee.  The President shall appoint a
    Nominating Committee at least forty-five days before the Annual General
    Meeting.

    The nominating Committee consists of Ronald Greene (out-going president)
    and Pat Roy (past president).

    In addition to nominations for Council (Directors) we are looking for
    someone who would be willing to take on the responsibility of starting
    up a blog and maintaining it, plus doing some public relations type of
    promotion.   If you are, or know of, someone who has these skills and
    would like to use them to help promote the BC Historical Federation,
    please contact Ronald Greene atpresident at bchistory.ca
