HBC STRATEGIC PLAN
Business Case Study Underway
The Ministry of Forests, Lands and Natural Resource Operations has
provided funding to take the Heritage BC Strategic Plan through the final
stages with the development of a business case. Through a competitive
solicitation process, Earthvoice Strategies Inc., in North Vancouver, was
awarded the contract.
Developing the business case will involve identifying, evaluating and making
recommendations on business and/or operational models that will establish
a sustainable and increasingly self-sufficient organization and reaffirm
Heritage BC´s role within the heritage sector. Work is underway and is
expected to be completed this fall.» HBC Strategic Plan
HERITAGE WEEK 2013
Good NeighboursHeritage Homes and Neighbourhoods
Heritage Week 2013 celebrates the beauty and character of heritage homes
and neighbourhoods. While ornate historic houses are what many people
think of first when they hear "heritage", established, stable and attractive
neighbourhoods make an equally important contribution to the community,
creating a positive sense of well being, enjoyment, and security. The theme
explores the character and warmth of historic homes, and the timeless
appeal of historic neighbourhoods with established residences, gardens,
landscaping, trees and boulevards.
