[BCMA] table id?

[Moderated BCMA subscriber listserv.]

I wonder if anyone can help us identify what the purpose of this table is
(see attached photo). It is about 2 ft. long and has a wheel to raise and
lower one or both sides. The top is covered with green felt. The only
identification on it is Ansco Company. Any help is greatly appreciated!
