[BCMA] table id?

Ansco was a (Pre Kodak) Photography Based Company in NY (pre Kodak-Eastman, located in Buffalo, NY)

This looks like a print press for drying multiple prrnts. I may be wrong, but why not send this image to John Dean or Ron Marsh, they both use to work at the Glenbow Miseum in Calgary for many years in the Photography Dept. You can find Ron Marsh on Facebook thru me and I have no current contact with John Dean (Who is a Photogrphy collector) but try Ron Marsh.

  I wonder if anyone can help us identify what the purpose of this table is (see attached photo). It is about 2 ft. long and has a wheel to raise and lower one or both sides. The top is covered with green felt. The only identification on it is Ansco Company. Any help is greatly appreciated!
