Government invests $1.6 million for heritage programs across Northern Ontario
Timmins Times Share/Partager 
Federal Heritage minister James Moore has announced in Timmins that the federal government is 
spending more than a million dollars on heritage programs across Northern Ontario. Money for Timmins 
includes $14,000 in arts programming for the La Ronde cultural centre and another $60,000 in 
Development of Official Language Communities programs, also for the La Ronde cultural centre.

Truro's Little White Schoolhouse Museum turns 30
Truro Daily News Share/Partager 
A little over 30 years ago, it was still a dream envisioned around an aging old building. Now, three decades 
later, an open house is planned celebrate the 30th anniversary of the Little White Schoolhouse Museum. 
This building is located on the grounds of the Nova Scotia Community College (NSTC), which formerly

Childhood memories rekindled by aviation museum

British Columbia Day's Open House at the B.C. Aviation Museum in Pat Bay was a day to remember. The 
Mill Bay ferry ride not only shortened the driving and avoided the holiday weekend traffic, but added to our

it. All of the museum's aircraft were on display including their latest project, a just-finished restoration of a
