Celebrate Heritage Week with the Kelowna Museums Society
A Week of Fun Filled Activities for All Ages.

Heritage Week is this Month, and to celebrate, Kelowna Museums Society has a great list of activities and exhibits to share in this year's theme: Energy in BC: A Powerful Past, A Sustainable Future. Throughout the week, there will be an exhibit in the new front room display area at the Okanagan Heritage Museum. Examine photographs and artefacts which depict electricity and its use by early settlers. Bring the kids in to complete a fun scavenger hunt and enter to win a great door prize! On February 23rd, attend our Brown Bag lunch and enjoy an afternoon lecture. Gwendy Lamont, of the Friends of Fintry, will present about the fascinating life of Captain James Dun-Water.
