BC Wine Museum & VQA Wine Shop Celebrates 15 years!
Special Birthday Celebration Planned

For 15 years the BC Wine Museum & BC VQA Wine Shop has been telling visitors all about the Provinces exciting wine and grape history. And for all that time, they've also been sampling and selling the Provinces largest selection of wonderful BC VQA Wines. Now, it's time to celebrate that milestone with a special birthday event. Join us on Thursday, March 1st from 4:00pm to 6:00 pm, at the BC Wine Museum & VQA Wine Shop for a special birthday edition of our complimentary monthly Neighbourhood Nosh.

This month's Nosh will feature the wines of Gehringer Brothers and Volcanic Hills. Gehringer Brothers Winery, located in Oliver, has been producing award winning wine for the past 27 years. They have a line of up of 22 wines, including Dry Rock, Optimum, Private Reserve and Signature Icewines, which are exquisitely produced by European trained wine makers Walter and Gordon Gehringer. Volcanic Hills is a new Okanagan winery located in West Kelowna.  They will be bringing three new red wines, 2009 Eruption, 2009, Merlot and the 2009 Syrah, to share with us for this special birthday Nosh.

To compliment this beautiful selection of wine, Illichmann & Son's Sausage & Delicatessen will be here to share their mouth watering appetizers and Gort's Gouda will be sharing their delectable cheeses. Also, don't miss out on 15% off non-wine merchandise for this day only! So stop on by, taste some great VQA wines, take in the history of wine production in the Okanagan Valley and join us in celebrating 15 years of VQA Wine Excellence.
