Sundays are now Salty at the Maritime Museum!

In an effort to be more accessible to the public, the Maritime Museum of BC has implemented a new admission change. Children 12 and under are now free. What better time to take advantage of this new change then to bring your little scallywags to Salty Sundays!

Beginning at 1:00pm every second Sunday at the Museum, enjoy crafts, activities, programming, and tours. Discover something new every month! Drop- ins are welcome. Salty Sundays are free with admission.

January

12th- 1:00pm Salty Sunday - What do I Need to Live in the Deep? Partake in this educational program and learn what is needed to survive in the extreme environment of the deep ocean. For this Sunday only, come visit actual sea creatures in our awesome touch-tank, Seaquaria, provided by World Fisheries Trust and join Let's Talk Science to uncover the science within the ocean.

February

12th - 1:00pm Salty Sunday - Sailor's Valentines - Sailors often leave loves ashore. Hear some tales of lost loves and make an old-fashioned sailor's valentine to give to your true love.
