Fraser River Discovery Centre to host inaugural edition of Royal City Kids
Fair


New Westminster, BC. - Organizers of the Royal City Kids Fair (
<http://www.royalcitykids.com/> www.royalcitykids.com) are proud to announce
their partnership with one of New Westminster’s jewel tourist attractions:
the Fraser River Discovery Centre.

Proudly sponsored by the Royal City Record, Knowledge First Financial,
Virgin Radio/Astral Media, West Coast Families Magazine, BMO Bank of
Montreal – Columbia Square Plaza, and PartyWorks Interactive¸ the first
annual Royal City Kids Fair will take place at the Fraser River Discovery
Centre on January 21 from 9:00am to 5:00pm. 

“We are very happy to welcome the Royal City Kids Fair to the Fraser River
Discovery Centre. The Fair is a fun and informative event for parents and
kids,” said Executive Director Catherine Ouellet-Martin. “Teaming up with
the Royal City Kids Fair was a perfect fit for us!”

The free to attend fair will feature over 50 exhibitors and vendors, the
ArtSpace Creation Station, other fun and whacky kids crafts and activities,
and live performances by Bobs and Lolo of Treehouse TV fame at 11:00am and
2:00pm.

The Fraser River Discovery Centre ( <http://www.fraserriverdiscovery.org/>
www.fraserriverdiscovery.org) will be launching their newest exhibit – the
Discovery Zone, a wonderful hands-on interactive exhibit that will have
families exploring and discovering the Fraser River through fun play.  

The Fraser River Discovery Centre is conveniently located at the New
Westminster Quay, next to the River Market, with ample parking and only a
5-minute walk from the New Westminster Skytrain station.
