[BCMA] Transitions and Opportunities in the Cultural Resource Management Program at UVic

The University of Victoria's long-established Cultural Resource Management Program will be experiencing change over the summer as Joy Davis, Program Director, steps away for a 14-month secondment to take on the University's Ceremonies and Events, while Brenda Weatherston, Senior Program Coordinator, moves to  Municipality of Saanich as Community Arts Specialist beginning in mid-August.  Program staff Irene Lo, Miranda Angus and Anissa Paulsen will ensure continuity in programming and support new staff to offer engaging and timely coursework and programs for the professional community.

As well, Brenda, Joy, and the CRMP team will work together over the summer to ensure that new staff are well prepared to continue to deliver our range of programming. The Program Director position has been posted (https://uhire.uvic.ca/cgi-bin/WebObjects/uhire.woa/wa/vacancy?id=21236&displayGrp1=1 ) and plans for posting Brenda's position are underway - if you know of wonderful people who would like to join the UVic community and contribute their knowledge and expertise in adult education relating to the cultural field, including cultural heritage, indigenous language revitalization, intercultural education, fine arts and social justice, please encourage them to apply by the July 6 deadline.
