Another option might be to find out where the City of Vancouver Archives
has this type of work carried out.

Hi There,
I inquired about this for you at Cineworks Independent Filmmakers
Society, as they do 8 mm. Transfers. They did not think it can be done
in Vancouver and suggested to try Alpha Cine in Seattle. VIVO may have
other leads too. Sadly, it is very difficult to find places that
process film these days!
Good luck!

Ron,
You could try the VIVO Studios on Main Street in Vancouver. They may
have such a service. If not, they might be able to direct you to the
right person or place.
Here is their website: http://vivomediaarts.com/

We have access to two 25 minute rolls of film on Richmond in the early
1940's including some great interurban shots.
Does anyone have a contact with a company that can transfer a 9.5 mm -
sprokcet holes in the centre - Pathe film onto a DVD. Any suggestions
would be greatly appreciated.
