Future of Montreal's Biosphere in doubt

The future of Montreal's 17-year-old environment museum, the Biosphere, is in question as another wave
of more than 5,000 public sector employees were informed that their jobs may disappearing because of
federal budget cuts, including more than 250 positions in Montreal. The Biosphere opened in 1995 as an
environmental museum focused on the study of water and the Great Lakes and St. Lawrence River

Black Loyalist project gets cash boost

Tourists can see Terry Fox van at museum on weekend

The beige Ford Econoline camper van that served as Terry Fox's home during his 1980 Marathon of Hope
will be on display to the public over the Canada Day weekend. Owned by the Fox family, it will be
temporarily stored at the museum until a permanent display location can be found. In 2008, the van was
