[BCMA] Support The Maritime Museum of BC, Help Us Reach Our Goal

Dear  member,

Your support for the Maritime Museum of B.C. is important. We receive only a small fraction of our funding from government, and in order to keep the cost of attending the museum affordable for residents and visitors alike, we endeavour to keep our entrance fees as low as possible.

This means that we need to raise funds from members and supporters each year in order to continue to do a good job preserving and showcasing B.C.'s maritime heritage, and telling B.C.'s maritime stories.

Our fiscal year ends March 31. We are within striking distance of our annual fund- raising goal. But we're not there yet. We need your help and we only have one more week to make it happen!

A $100 gift will provide $200 to the Museum, thanks to an anonymous donor who has offered to match your donation, if it is received before March 31. The actual cost to you is $56 after the donation tax credit you will receive. That means that the actual dollars you spend will be virtually quadrupled in impact for the Museum.

There will never be a better time to make a monetary difference to the Museum. I urge you to make a $100 contribution (or whatever amount you feel comfortable with) today. Every contribution counts. We will be happy to arrange to pick up your cheque from you at a time that is convenient to you.
