[BCMA] Nanaimo Museum hosts Singer/Songwriter Gordon Carter

Hi everyone,

 

As part of our 1887 Commemoration we are hosting a short concert in the
Gallery. Write-up is below:

 

The Nanaimo Museum is hosting singer songwriter Gordon Carter in the
gallery on May 12, 2012 from 1:00pm to 2:00pm. Gord is a well-known
resident of the Comox Valley, who sings annually at the Miner's memorial
event in Cumberland. He will be entertaining us will songs about
coal-mining and various selections from his recently released second
album "Diary of a Coal Town" which will be available for purchase at the
event. Admission to the Museum is by donation during the concert. Hope
to see you there!
