Abbotsford, BC... Fraser Valley Stage (FVS) brings their production "Remembrances" to Live @ The Reach Sunday, November 11, 2012 2:30pm at The Reach Gallery Museum Abbotsford, 32388 Veterans Way.

"Remembrances", is a reflective program of music and poetry pertaining to the two world wars.  Although much of the music of both wars was positive, written to keep spirits up and reflect the longing for home and peace, the poetry of the time sought to show the reality of the experience.   This program juxtaposes these two art forms to remember many of the "feel good" songs of the eras, but also the cost of war.

Fraser Valley Stage is currently in rehearsal for an Abbotsford, December 2012 production of "Starlight Radio Theatre".  Fraser Valley Stage is a non-profit organization comprised of volunteer singers, actors, dancers, and many artists and craft persons who share an interest in and commitment to live theatre. It grew out of the Valley Musical Theatre Guild which was established in 1969 from the Abbotsford Ladies Chorale.

Live @ The Reach is an eclectic music series presented by The Reach Gallery Museum Abbotsford.
