Soiree of Craft Fundraiser

The  <http://www.craftcouncilbc.ca/final2/index.htm> Craft Council of BC, a
charitable arts service organization, hosts an annual fundraising event that
invites the general public to experience what excellence in craft truly is,
while raising much needed funds for our youth program. 

Join us for this year's fundraiser while celebrating the work of renowned
fibre artist  <http://www.alicephilips.com/home.htm> Alice Philips. Alice's
exhibit "Light Lines" will open October 25 at our

December 6th. On the evening of October 25th 7-11pm you can preview the
exhibit and bid on amazing contemporary crafts while you nibble on canapés
by Edible Canada, share a glass of wine, and great company. 

Proceeds from the evening will support our Imagined Community Project which
provides youth with the opportunity to explore how contemporary craft plays
a vital role in society.  

Tickets are $45 and include one glass of wine and are eligible for $27
charitable tax receipt.
