Girls Night @ The Museum is back!

Get your girlfriends together for a fun night of food, entertainment and art at The Reach.  Back for the third year, Girls Night @ The Museum takes place on Friday, November 2 from  7-10pm and features food by Milestones and Thrifty Foods as well as wine from Lotusland Winery.  Check out displays from 12 artists and artisans, create something in the new Learn Discover Create centre or listen to our jazzy trio featuring the amazing voice of The Reach favourite, Kat Wahamaa.  Tickets are $25 and include a drink, food and entertainment.

New this year, local renowned photographer  Andrew Simpson of photoart by simpson will be doing glamour headshots during the event.  The $40 photo-session ticket includes the photo, drink, food and entertainment.  Only 50 photo-session tickets are available.

Girls Night @ The Museum will also inspire you through the creativity and talent of local artists.  A mix of new and returning artists will showcase fabulous creations in pottery, glass, jewelry, visual art, textiles and wood. A great opportunity to Christmas shop or treat yourself!

Singer/songwriter Kat Wahamaa tells timeless stories with an eclectic mix of roots, jazz, and blues. With a "voice you can take a bath in" comparisons range from Emmylou Harris to Ella Fitzgerald.  She has performed throughout Western Canada, Japan, US and the UK at everything from festivals to concert halls, honkytonks to house concerts with rave reviews.  Joining her at Girls Night @ The Museum, her song-writing and life partner Tony Rees on guitar/bass and the inimitable Astrid Sars on saxophone and flute.
